The glove box base forms the bottom plate of a composite "breadboard" table where the top plate is ferromagnetic stainless steel. With countersunk tapped holes, basic building blocks for optical systems can be both bolted and magnetic.

Beam tubes attachments points and beam window can be designed into the glove box layout to maximum advantage.
